Tourist route from the A9
If you are well on time and would like to see the surroundings immediately, we recommend turning off the A9 at Uitgeest. From Uitgeest t / m Camperduin you drive along cozy small villages and through a beautiful landscape. From Uitgeest follow in chronological order Castricum, Egmond, Bergen, Schoorl, Groet and Camperduin. You are half an hour longer on the road, but immediately get into the holiday mood. Please let us know if you have any questions about the area.
Straight on from the A9
Follow from the A9 Den Helder. After the ring road of Alkmaar you will arrive on the N9 and continue to Den Helder. From the N9 follow Schoorl and then Groet. You are already driving on the Heereweg, but will have to drive it out to the beach of Camperduin. If you take the roundabout straight on in Camperduin you will see the hotel on the left hidden behind the dune.
From Den Helder
From Den Helder, follow the N9 to Alkmaar. Turn off at Petten and follow the signs for Schoorl / Camperduin. When you arrive in Camperduin, turn right at the roundabout. The hotel is located on your left.
Note: Not all navigation systems can find Camperduin well! Then try to find the hotel with postal code 1871 GL in Schoorl. It often succeeds. If not, you can of course also find us the old fashioned way.
Charging station for electric/hybrid cars
We have several charging stations for electric cars in the parking lot. You can use it during your stay.
Directions by Public Transport
The Strandhotel is easily accessible by public transport. You should take bus 151 from Alkmaar's central station. It is a 100-meter walk from the Honsbossche zeewering bus stop to the hotel. So you are within 30 minutes in Camperduin. See www.9292.nl for the timetable.
