Restaurant
We offer you various options for food & drink during your stay at the Schoorlse duinen. In our onsite restaurant you can wake up peacefully with a view of the Schoorl dunes. When the weather is nice you can also have breakfast on our terrace. You can dine in our restaurant Struin with a beautiful view over the North Sea and Hondsbossche Zeewering. Activities & Surroundings
Strandhotel Camperduin is located exactly on the border of the dunes, polder and beach. That is why it is the perfect base for beautiful bike rides through the dunes and polder, mountain biking through the Schoorl dunes or just a quiet day on the beach. The charming villages of Groet (2 km), Bergen (10 km) and Egmond (19 km) are certainly worth a visit, and don't forget to climb the large climbing dune of Schoorl (5.5 km). For a longer stay, many guests opt for a city walk through Alkmaar (16 km) or a visit to the maritime museum in Den Helder (30 km). There is plenty to do in the Camperduin area.
Cycling
At Strandhotel we have some bicycles for rent. Please contact us in advance to reserve your bike. If we no longer have bicycles available then you can rent a bicycyle through Masteling in Groet. Here you can also rent a mountain bike or cargo bike.
