The comfortable apartment "the Watchman" is in a unique location, on top of the dune. From here you have a breathtaking view of the North Sea. This spacious apartment is suitable for 6 persons and has 2 separate bedrooms.

In the master bedroom there is a double bed overlooking the dunes. In the second bedroom there is a double bed and a bunk bed (pictures of bedroom do not correspond to current situation).

The bathroom is equipped with a rain shower and a bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The toilet is separate from the bathroom.

In the cozy living room you will find a spacious corner sofa, a dining table and a well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, oven and electric stove. Don't feel like cooking? Then in the summer months you can walk straight to your downstairs neighbor, beach pavilion Struin, for a delicious meal.

The apartment has a balcony at the front, from here you will enjoy the rushing of the waves and the impressive view of the beach and the lagoon.

    Check out until 11 a.m.

    Early check-in from 1 p.m. possible for €17.50 (not possible for apartment the Watchman)

    Late check-out until 1 p.m. possible for €17.50 (not possible for apartment de Waker)

  • For bookings through our own website, you can choose from the following rates.

    Cancellations or adjustments must be sent in writing to info@strandhotel-camperduin.nl.


    Studio rate: free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival

    Bookings through Booking.com must be canceled through Booking.com. We unfortunately cannot arrange this for you.

  • For our studio rate, we require the first night as a deposit. The remaining amount can be paid at the hotel.

    Payment can be made via iDEAL, credit card or bank transfer.

    Your booking is not final until the (deposit) is made.


  • Children of all ages are welcome. We have extra (baby) beds available for children up to 3 years old.

    In apartments where extra beds are placed for children (or adults) we charge €15 per child per nach. Please indicate this when booking or contact us if you plan to accommodate an extra person in your room (not suitable in all rooms)

  • Special conditions apply when booking more than 9 rooms. In such cases, please contact us in advance for a suitable quotation.

  • Pets are not allowed in the hotel. Only in our hotel suite with kitchen, apartment de Waker and 'het Duinpannetje' you can bring your pet.

    Please inform our reception. We charge €15 per dog per night.

    Unfortunately, we cannot allow your pet in our other rooms.

  • Parking during your stay is available at Strandhotel Camperduin on Heereweg 395 or at the Strandstudio's Camperduin on Heereweg 403 (1871 GL, Schoorl)

  • You can have breakfast at the restaurant in Strandhotel Camperduin. For lunch & dinner you can visit our restaurant Struin 7 days a week (different opening hours apply from the end of October).

  • Smoking is not allowed anywhere. When violating the smoking ban, we will charge a €150 fine.

  • Het Duinpannetje is a cosy and attractive apartment for 4 people. This apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, living room and a south-facing private garden located in a dune pan. The bedroom on the first floor has a double bed and a double sofa bed (for children).
